Welcome faithful bloggers! It's reward time! For those of you who have blogged all five blogs this semester, it's time for some extra credit.
1. Which of the five blogs did you like the best and why? (10 Pts)
2. Which blog did you like the least and why?(10 pts)
3. What can I do to make the blogs more interesting or better.(10 Pts)
4. Only about 50% of all my students blogged, even though they were given three weeks to blog. Do you think that I should give them less time, say two weeks? Why do you think that they did not do the assignments (blogs) (10 Pts)
I thank you for your time and comments!

1.The blog that i liked the best was probably the very first one (Dalton's Play House) because toward the end you had to answer some questions and if you answered them wrong it gave you another chance to answer which made it better for me to understand.
2. The blog i didnt like was "Me Oh Meiosis" because every time i would mess up i would have to start the game all over and i couldnt remeber all the steps i did before, so i got frustrated.
3. In my opinion i dont think you can do very much to make the blogs any better because every week its something different and i dont get use to it, which is good.
4.Yes i believe that the students have too much time to do the blog, i feel like it should be an earlier due date because if you let us have 3 weeks to do the blog most people forget about it and do it last mintue, although changing the due date to a week earlier it may increase the percentage a little.

1.the blog i liked the most was this last one we had. it helped me out and helped me understand for the test.
2.the blod i disliked the most would have to be the first blog we ever did because i thought it would be pointless to do. but it helps me out more then i thought it would.
3.i think you can make the blogs more intresting by putting more and fun games up with the blogs.
4.I think some students get lazy and just dont want to do it. i dont have a computer at home and i still get the blogs done. we have time to do it in class and after school.i think you should just keep doing what you are doing.
1: My favorite blog was "What's in a cell?" I really enjoyed the interactive cell demonstrations, as they really explained the steps well, and helped me understand.
2: I did not like "Me Oh Meiosis, it was difficult to follow, and it would send you back to the beginning everytime you made a mistake.
3: I think adding videos along with the games would be helpful, and the video might be a good tie-up to make sure the person understands everything the game taught them.
4: I think the amount of time is alright, I just know that some people really have no wway to acess a computer with internet capabilities, as they might have to babysit or work.Sometimes it's difficult to acess a computer.
1) I enjoyed the lab were i had to make things (virtual lab, i think it is called), i liked how i had to watch a video first, follow procedures and experiment, and the take a small test at the end. I also liked the lab were i had to create a H20 molecule and label the parts.
2)I enjoyed mostly all the labs.I did not really enjoy the lab where i had to comment my own article or game .Because when i would try to click on my link it didnt go to the website. I even tryed typing in the website word for word and it wasnt working. i dont know if maybe it is the computer or laptop i use.
3)You can make us watch more instuctional videos and read new scientific researches based on the subject were have a blog on.
4)I do think 3 weeks is too much. It should be two weeks so we have room for more blogs. I think the students who dont get it done on time put it off for too long, because they think they have a long time.
1. Probably the best blog that I found interesting was me oh meiosis! I love how we got to post our own game and play others. Games interest me at most and help me understand things rather than just reading off of something.
2. The blog that I liked least was Are You Looking At My Genes. I found it very hard to understand because I had to read a lot and re read some of them because it was hard to comprehend with.
3. In my opinion, games would be a lot more fun and also interesting to do. It would help people that are hard to comprehend with things. Maybe not REALLY fun games but very well taught games so we can actually learn!
4. Honestly 2 weeks would be perfect. Gives them plenty of time and less time to forget. They probably didnt do the assignments because they forgot. I would always forget about my blog but eventually do it so I would kind of get where they are coming from.
1) The blog I liked the best was Whats In A Cell. I liked this one because it helped me out with what each function was in the cell.
2) I didn't like the Me Oh Meiosis because it made me start over every time I messed up but it helped me memorize the steps.
3) I think you should add more videos and notes to make the blogs better so we get a better idea of what we're doing.
4) I think you should change the due date because some people hold it off until the last minute then get to lazy to do it.

1) My favorite activity was the, "What's in a cell?" Activity because were were able to actually put the cells together and it made it easier to understand their differences.
2) My least favorite was the, "Let's see what you're made of blog". I think there were too many activities combined in one blog.
3)I didn't think the blogs were boring. I think the interactive activities are better than getting the information out of the book. Most of us students spend a lot of time on the internet anyway, so might as well do something productive and that will help me understand the class better.
4)I think 3 weeks is too much time. A lot of people like myself completely forget about them and then rush to get it done before the dead line. I think with less time to complete the blog, it will be more important and easier to remember.
1. The blog I liked the best was "me oh meiosis" because of how easy it was for me to understand.
2. The blog I didn't like the most was "what's in a cell". I liked the overall blog but to me it seemed a little to long for me to focus.
3. It would make the blogs better if they were more interactive. If you make the blogs fun to a few people so others will tell them about it.
4. It would be better if you gave people 2 weeks to do the blog and this is because people think they can just wait till the last week to do it.
i liked "are you looking at my genes" it help me understand the genotype and phenotypes.
2. i didnt like the me oh meiosis because i got confused on that one too many times and had to restart multiple times
3. i like them the way they are they are entertaining and very informative i enjoy them alot.
4. people try to left it off til the last day so i think you should make it in two weeks instead of three.
1.Out of all five blogs, I enjoyed Me Oh Meiosis the most. This blog was a bit challenging for me, which is a positive aspec, but also fun.
2.The blog that I enjoyed the least was the very first one because it took a lot of time and almost lost my attention.
3.To make the blogs more interesting, I would suggest finding a way to prevent the site from acting so slow. Other than that issue, I enjoy the blogs.
4.I admire the length that students are given for completion of the blogs. Coming from a student athlete, time is something I value when I get as much possible. With everything else going on, the length of time makes it easier for me to focus on the blog and get it completed.
1. I liked the Me Oh Meiosis because it showed step by step of Meiosis.
2. The one i least liked was Are You Looking at My Genes?? because i didn't understand some of it and wasn't taught well.
3. You could add more videos or more games to make it more intresting.
4. The reason 50 percent of kids do your blogs is because most of the students forget about the blogs and usually do it last second. I think 2 weeks would be enough for all of us to do our blogs. It would make students not forget about the blog.
1) The blog that i most liked was i think the "whats in a cell" because that blog was the most hands on. You had to put what was in each cell and it did help me alot.
2)The blog that i least liked was the "Are you looking at my genes" i did not like that one because all you had to do was read in it there was not much to it.
3)Something that you can do to make the blogs better is make them more hands on like the "whats in a cell" blog .
4)No, I think that we have enough time. it is perfect but it is just the people that leave it until last minute but end up forgetting to do it or there is people that are just lazy to do it and dont care about thier grades.
1. It only took me one trial to survuve the game. The key to my survival is genetic diversity.
2. Birds share over 100 anatomical features with one particular group of reptiles - dinosaurs. It's suggested that birds evolved from dinosaurs and are considered a type of dinosaur.
3. I lived nine years. A species needs to be able to reproduce and needs to be able so surviv in there environment.
4. I liked the survival of the fittest game the best because because you had to be fast to survive throught the years so it was fun to try and surviv long.
