The difference between meiosis and mitosis is that mitosis has different steps like Interphase, Prometaphase, and cytokinesis. Also, meiosis clupms together, then spreads apart and mitosis scrambles together and then spreads apart.

1) There are several differences and similarities in mitosis and meiosis but some of the basic differences in meiosis are that meiosis has two parts meiosis 1 and meiosis2 because it divides twice and creates four daughter cells. Some of the similarities are that they both have the same steps but mitosis only does it once and makes 2 daughter cells not 4 like in meiosis and they both make cells. Some events are different though and they have different ways that the chromosomes move.
