Osmosis- I really enjoyed the animations on the webstie, it helped me understand how diffusion and osmosis works.

Enzyme catalyst- I already knew that an enzyme was a catalyst, but it taught be that a product is water and oxygen; and a substrate equals hydrogen peroxide.

Plant pigment- This website taught me what paper chromatography is, but i still don't understand pigments. It confused me a lot and i need more help in class.

Cell respiration- During this website i learned that ceullular respiration occurs in both plant and amimal cells in the mitochondria. I liked this website out of all of them, i understood it the best and i read the pipette correctly. This website was fairly easy for me.

ATP: Interactive biology video- This video explained ATP and ADP really well. I understand it more and now realize that ATP and ADP molecules give you energy.

I agree with Colleen S. that website 4, cell respiration, did explain how to read a pipette because i did really well on that part and it was my favorite website because i understood it the best.

I really like this video, first because the sound check in the beginning is funny, and second because it really gets the message of photosynthesis across and it also has the photosynthesis formula that is in our book, so that's kind of neat.

1. Osmosis- I learned that water movement is influenced by the solute concentrations of the solutions.
2. Enzyme catalyst- I observed that if different molecules are present only the correct molecule will bind and stay with the enzyme.
3. Plant Pigments and Photosynthesis- This site showed that you are able to deposit the pigment from a plant directly to another object.
4. Cell respiration- This site explained how the cricket needs to jump in order to breath which I thought was quite interesting.
5. ATP-ATP stands for adenosine Triphosphate. ATP is a molecule in the cell that allows for quick and easy access to energy when needed by the cell’s organelles.

Example of diffusion would be if you open a bag that has something that smells really bad, by time people around you would start smelling it. I also didnt know that Enzymes were protiens. I learned that ATP is used for all cellular activites that require energy to it.

What my thoughts on the website about osmosis and diffusion is that it was helpful and cleared up a few of my unanswered questions. I do wish that the pictures on the website were of cells and not all breakers.

What my thoughts on the website about enzyme catalysis is that I learned more about a enzyme and i like how they presented the "lock and key" pictures.

My thoughts on the website about plant pigments and photosynthesis
is that i liked the information it gave and i also liked how it made an expirement that you could try on your own.

What my thoughts on the website about cell respiration is that it helped me learn about cell respiration but it only had pictures about respiration for a cricket not about a cell.

What my thoughts on the website about ATP is that there are many ways ATP is taken into the cell.

I found this website The article I found http://www.buzzle.com/articles/osmosis-vs-diffusion.html
I like it since it gave me examples of Osmosis and diffusion and how they are important in living organisms.

3)In the ink example, the solvent is water. To separate the pigments of the chloroplasts, you must use an organic solvent.

4)We sometimes refer to our breathing as "respiration." Other organisms, including the cricket below, have different mechanisms for exchanging gases with the environment.

Osmosis and diffusion- I learned is Osmosis is a specialized case of diffusion that involves the passive transport of water. And it moves threw water.

Enzyme Catalysis- Enzymes are globular proteins. Enzymes catalyze reactions by lowering the activation energy necessary for a reaction to occur. The molecule that an enzyme acts on is called the substrate.

Plant pigments and photosynthesis- is a technique used to separate a mixture into its component molecule an all that other stuff.

Cell respiration- This take place in the mitochondria. Cellular respiration occurs in most cells of both plants and animals.

ATP- Is enegery currency of the body and it provides energy when the third phosphate detachees from the rest of the molecules, ADP behind. ADP stands for "Adenosine Disphophate"

1. I learned from the first website that during diffusion, molecules travel down their concentration gredient. But had a lot of information.
2. The second website i didn't learn much, but I did learn the molecule that an enzyme acts on is called the substrate.
3. The third website was a bit lengthy for my liking, but I did learn to separate the pigments of the chloroplasts, you must use an organic solvent.
4. The fourth site was kid of boring, I didn't really learn anything I haven't already learned in class.
5. For the fifth website, I chose http://www.interactive-biology.com/825/what-atp-is-and-how-it-works/. From this website I learned ATP means Adenosine Triphosphate.
6. I disagree with Calum, I thought the third website was a bit long, and I didn't learn a lot from it.
