Website one was very informational, I learned a lot about cells.
Website 2 was interesting, I didn't fully understand osmosis until now.
I agree with Kyle that I had already known much of what was presented, but I enjoyed making my own cell and it helped to reinforce my knowledge of organelles. I think that Kyle did not explain what he learned in the second website, so I don't know whetther to agree or disagree. I do know that since he did not do the blog correctly, that someone else gets to be the first blogger and Kyle must redo his blog post.
I knew most of the things on the first website. The second website however... made me feel like a little kid! I liked it though it made everything simpler, and I love how its a step by step process.
i went through both of the experiments and i learned that there are threee types of cells. i origanally thought there were only plant and animal.
i now believe that the first one was the easier one
I agree with Kyle M.
Also, i like learning stuff that way, JUST saying.. :D
I agree with both Colleen S. and Kyle, the first wedsite did have information you might already know but it was a great review on what the differents are between a plant and animal cell. The second website had info. that was newer to me but I realy liked it because it helped me understand the many different types of cellular transport.
The first website taught me a lot more than what I knew, I now understand the difference between a prokaryote and eukaryotic cell. The second website confused me, and I feel like I need more help with that In class.
I disagree with Kyle M, because i felt like the first website was more useful than the second.
Hannah G. 1st hour says...
The first site helped me under stand what I kinda got in class way better. The second website I didn't really get too much out of it untill I watched it for the 3rd time, but I would still like to go over the materials of that website in class more. I agree with Carley B that the first website was really helpful.
The first website was kinda easy but i still learned about the prokaryote cell. On the second site i had a much harder time and had to learn almost everything new.
I disagree with Carly B. because the second was much more useful than the first.
it was very nice it had alot of information if i could i would be a boilogist
The first website helped me understand the differences between animal and plant cells, in a childish way. I feel that the first website was more helpful than the second. I agree with Carly B.
The sites were very detailed which helped me understand the info easier. At first I didn't know the parts of an animal or plant cell. Glad to actually learn something.I agree with Tyler H. because the second site was most useful.
Zenia L. 2nd said
well i like the first website because you could create your own cell which was pretty easy.
The second website was really confusing. but alot more information to learn which was very good. overall i liked both sites.
The first website was very helpful, and was much easier to understand the differences between the cells.
The second website helped me alot aswell. I never understood cell transportation until now. It was very educational!
I agree with Tyler H., the second website was more useful.
I agree with Carly the first website was very easy to understand the difference in cells of plants and animals and the second website was harder to understand when i went through it
I agree with Carly I did learn alot and now I do understand more about all the differend cells but the second one confusing.
i agree with Bryan A. the first website was childish but at the same time it more fun.
I agree with Hannah G., the first website helped me get a better understanding of what we are learning in class. However, I felt the second website was quite confusing, I had to reread most of the information to process what was written.
I found the fist one to be harder than the second,
but it was still fun.
The secnd was link was kind of boring but i got through it.
I disagree with Hannah G. becoause i got barley
got anything from the first link.
I agree with Bryan A on how the second website made him feel like a kid. It made me feel like a kid to. How ever,I understood everything AFTER i got it done. The first website on the other hand, was extremely easy. I already knew about cell processes. :D
I pretty much knew every thing in the first activity but the second activity was new to me and the presentation helped me understand it more so I would have to agree with Tyler H.
I think the first website really helped me better then the second because the first website was really easy to understand and the second one, i didn't get till i saw it for the 4th time. So i agree with Carly B. because the first website was useful.
i already knew a lot about the plant cells and the orgenelles so this pretty much was a review for me. i mean i did learn a little more stuff about prokaryotes and eurokaryotes but that as it.
i like both websires but i think the second one was easier the first one was harder and on the second one i understood more and learned some new things
I agree with zenia l.it is childish but its more interesting.
i agree with Bryan Ayala because i did know some of it in the first wbsite and the second one teach me a lot of new thing that i never know about so i had fun learing about cells now.
I strongly agree with Zenia L. I think it is pretty childish since I am a grown up. Its not really fun, but at the same time it kind of is. I am not a child.
I think the first website helped me more because i could interact with it. The second website was just confusing. I agree with Carly B.
the first website helps me with my knowledge of cell structures.the second website did not help me as much as the first one.i agree with mayra about liking the first website.
I like the first website better it helped me understand how comlplex plant and animal structure is. the second website was very informative but not a interesting as the first.
So I agree with emily about the first website being better
tiffany S. i thought the first one was good . it really helped me with all the cell parts and the second was aight not much came out of that one
Selena P 3rd period
Both websites were informational but I understood first website and the second one was more confusing I agree with Carly B.
Both websites were very informational. They helped me understand everything a lot better then before. I have to agree with Bryan A. though
It's good to know that you are are experts on cytology! Instead of childish, you should say, simplistic. These websites are companion sites for high school biology. Most of the blogs will be interactive.
I learned more on the first website becuse i actually got to construct a cell and the words wherent so smoshed together makeing it harder to read.
The second websit had lots of information, but it overwhelemd me with to much information so it was harder to understand.
I disagree with juan the first website was more fun not childish and it taught me more the second one was to plain to and not as intressting
i agree with myra cuz the second website was boring and had no interaction the first on helped me with my project by helping me construct the cells
I agree with Tyler H. I enjoyed reviewing the information on the first website and refreshing my knowledge. The second website was a little hard for me to comprehend. However, I enjoyed both websites.
I agree with Hannah G., the first site was a good review for me, but the second site confuses me, so I think I need more help with that in class.
The first site was very informational, it was interactive so it made it easy to learn about cells. The second site was very confusing to me, and I still don't fully understand osmosis. I agree with Carly B. because the second website confused me.
I like the first website better than the second website because it taught me much more about a cell and whats in side a cell. Like how a lot of cells have ribosomes. I agree with Carly B. saying that the first website taught me a lot more than the second.
I knew most of the things on the first website but I did learn that instead of just an Animal and Plant cell there is also a third cell.
The second website was very informative.
The first website was easy to understand and fun. The second wedsite was abit harder but fun none the less, it realy wasn't that hard to understand after awhile. They both had very usefull thing to say and help me understand and it was fun to make my own cell. So it is really easy to agree with Savanah Montano, 3rd period and Hannah G. 1st hour abuot it helping.
Website one was very informational. even though i knew alot of The material , i learned some stuff about cells i didnt know and now understand it more.
Website two was very confusing to me. i had to go over the material 2 times to understand it so i could answer the questions.
I agree with Maddie H the second one was very confusing and i still dont understand it either.
I learned a lot in website 1, it was nice because it refreshed my memory about cells, it had a lot of information and it was neat to build a cell, it was also easier to understand. The 2nd one was harder to understand but I still learned a lot. So therefore I agree with Aubrie C.
I thought the first website was very easy, and it helped me underastand the stucture of a cell better. However, the second was a little more difficult to understand. I agree with Hannah G Per.1 about the first website being very helpful.
Website one was very educational.I learned the a vacuole stores nutrients and water.
Website two was very interesting and I learned a lot of stuff I didn't know before. one thing that i learned is that the membrane is primarily compose of a bi-layer of various types of lipids and proteins.
I don't agree with Monica M. 3rd hour because the second site wasn't that hard.
The first website was very interesting and taught me more about cells then i knew before. The second website i found kind of dificult to understand and need more help on it. I agree with Miranda R.A.D.P 2nd period that it was helpful but disagree to because i didnt understand the second website all to much.
I learned more on the first website becuse i actually learned ribosomes make protiens. The second websit on cellular transport and what cells have to do with everything had lots of information, but it overwhelemd me with to much information so it was harder to understand.
I disagree with juan the first website was more fun not childish and it taught me more the second one was to plain to and not as intressting
website one was very easy to understand, i learned the difference between a prokaryotic cell and a eukaryotic one.
website two was too wordy, i did however learn that the passage of a molecule into a cell can be considered to involve atleast 3 steps:binding, comformational change in protein, and release.
i agree with lucy diaz , the first website did help me learn more because it let me construct my own cell (: , :D
I like the first website, it helped me uderstand the structure of different cells better. I now know that only plant cells, which is a eukaryote cell, have a chloroplast. I also like how the first website let you reconstruct each cell, that was easy. The second website was alright, i had to reread a bunch, but it did teach me that size and polarity can prevent molecules from passing through a cell membrane. So that being said, i agree with Miranda R.A.D.P. that the second website was a little harder.
The first website was a good review for me, I feel confident about cell parts. The second website was confusing, so I think I'll need more help with cell transport. I do agree with Aubrie C., the first site was a great review and helped refresh my mind.
The information in website one was very helpful. Its crazy how these things make up everything in our entire body along with the fact we can only see these cells using tons of magnification.
Website two was also helpful. It's very detailed and I understood it a lot better.
I had the same problem with Kerim in 4th hour. I had no idea that there was a third (prokaryotic) cell, not just animal and plant cells.
Andrew S.M 3rd Period
I agree with Mlranda the first website was easy to understand and fun. I disliked the second website because it was alot of reading and not as inter active as the firsth website. The second website did teach me more than the first website.
Christian F. 4th period
I knew almost everything on the first website and thought it was very interesting. The second website didnt make sense to me at first but i went over it and understood it. I also understand what Meranda was saying about the second website i had some trouble to at first.
The first website was incredibly helpful because it helped me organize the parts of the cell in my head.
The second website was a little confusing at the end, but it did help me understand more about cell transportation.
I agree with Hannah G. in first hour, the first website helped me understand what I learned in class much better.
The first website was fun and interactive. It refreshed my memory a little bit. The second website it was kind of confusing and not as fun as the first. I agreed with Carly B I liked the first one better, the second one was confusing.

The first website made me understand cells more and it was fun.
The second website confused me a little but I still learned.
Emily G. 4th Hour
The first website was very informative. I learned more that there is a third cell besides a plant and animal cell.
The second website also helped me understand more of what we discuss in class. I learned that the cell membrane contains bilayers.
I agree with Miranda in period 2, both websites were beneficial and I learned something new from both.
pete cavello 6th period
i agree wit christian f. i learned alot in the first website. i learned that ribosomes are in the endoplasmic reticulum.
the second website was intresting and i learned alot about the plant and animal cell. i learned that the cell wall is only in the plant cell
I have attended previous life science courses and didn't find new information.Though I must say that if I had never learned about osmosis, cell transportantion, etc, then I would have found both of the websites to be very informational. I think that both website one and two do a very good job at explaining things, it really put the information into a format very different than how my previous teachers taught! :)
the first website i thought was more interesting then the second website. i learned that there are 3 different type of cells. I thought the second website was confusing. i now understand ,ore about what we talk about in class. i agree with jeanette from 4th hour that the second website was more confusing then the first.
Aileen M P. 2 9/11
The fist website was pretty fun. You got to design your own cell and i understood it very well. The second webiste was a bit confusing but it gives you more information.
I agree with Jeanette the first one was really helpful. And the second website gave you infromation about cell tranportation.
I like the first one because it was really easy to understand.
The second one wasn't as easy to understand and I didn't really get want it was telling me.
Jose morales P.4
i think the first wedsite was very understandable, it was pretty easy to do. The second wedsite was a bit confuseing but it gave me more information.
i agree with Bryan Ayala the first one was the easiest and the second one was confuseing.
Daisel rubio p.6
The first wesite was really interesting , i learned alot about cells it was also pretty easy to do . But the second one wasnt understandable .
I agree with Rachel Because it was fun and interactive. and the second wedsite was confusing and not as fun .
The first website was more informative. It let me put the cells together to see how they worked. The 2nd website was a bit hard to relate to.
I like the first website because it was fun and you get make a cell. The second one confused me a little. i agree with Monica M that the first one was fun and simple, the second one just was confusing.
jenny cabanillas. period 4.
the first site was pretty easy to me, i definitely liked the part where you pick your own cell, it was easier to remember where all the parts to each cell went. As for the second site, it was more difficult and harder to understand, i did like how it went step by step though.
i agree with everyone who said that the first one was easier. but both websites were cool and had a lot of great information.also agree with troy s i only thought there were two kinds of cells
briana kujawski p.3
I agree with jenny. c the first one was easy to me :) this one was harder and i kept getting them wrong! I also agree whith jerimiah n i didnt know there was 3 cells? i thought there was only two? But i like them both alot :) I doesnt really feel like homework to me :) because i kinda like doing this:) haha
this is my 3rd time trying to posting this! :P its not going thru!! I agree with jerimiah n the first one was easier :) but i also like this one because i got to make a cell :p even thou i kept getting it wrong :) and i didnt know there was 3 cells ? i only thought there was 2??
Both websites were full of information. I agree with Sadie M. about the first website being easier to understand and reconstructing the cells were fun. The second website, on the other hand, was a little more difficult to comprehend because you had to reread some parts over again, but I now know more about cell structure and cellular transport.
I agree with jerimiah n the first one was wayyy easier!! :) i like the other one thou because it seem like there was more to do:)and i didnt know there was 3 cells?? i only thought there was two??
I learned alot on the first website. I knew all of the stuff in the second website, it was really easy, and fun.
I enjoyed both of the websites they were fun.
The first website was fun I learned a lot. The second website was easy, I knew most of it. Overall they were both fun and I like that it is step by step.
Haley Olsen P.1
The first site was a little two wordy and the second was easier to understand.i agree with Briana Kujawski from period three.
i argee with slivia s. when she said the first one was easier than the second one.
for me i liked the first one better. it was easy to understand and fun.
but the second one was harder for me to understand.
i also didnt know that there was 3 type of cells.
The first site was a little wordy.the second one was easier to understand. I agree with briana kujawski from p.3.
The first site was a little wordy.the second one was easier to understand. I agree with briana kujawski from p.3.
the second website was harder for me to understand but had alot of good information. i understood alot more about cells after i was done with both websites. i agree with everyone who said the second website was harder. but over all i like both websites.
I liked the first one because it was inter active with the user.I learned that that prokarotic cell is made of the less amount of parts. I disliked to second one because it was boring.I learned that there are two ways into the cell.
I disagree with Jonyx H the second one was boring.
The first web site was informative. I learned the difference between eukaryotic and prokaryote cells. The second website was also informative I learned that the cell membrane is primarily composed of a billayer of various types of lipids and proteins. I agree with Peter C. The second website was interesting and I learned a lot about the plant and animal cell.

The first interactive activity was pretty easy and self explanatory. However, it didn't teach me anything more than we have already learned. The second interactive thingy was kinda boring, and I didn't learn anything more.I disagree with Briana Kujaski who thinks the first one was way easier- they were both pretty simple.
the first site was boring.the second one make it funnier to fun. I agree with briana kujawski from third hour.
I thought this had a lot of infromation on cells and how they work, but i do agree with Bryan Ayala the second one was pretty easy and kid like.
Jalun Silva 6th hour
The 1st website I thought it was easy and it made me remember where the cell parts go.
The 2nd website was way more difficult but i did learn more with this one then the 1st one because it had more information
I agree with Monica M. The first website was a good review
I agree with Kyle M. and Colleen S! the first website did have information that you might have or might have not already known and it was a great refresher for the knowledge of the differences of the animal and plant cell, the interactive site also was very educating & was more "hands on" therefore it caused me to focus more. :) Also,The second website had information that was newer to me but It did interest me because I was learning something new about the different types of cellular transport and it helped me understand the different types of cellular transport!
annette soto p.2
i agree with tyler the first one was a bit easier and i learned more couse they did everything step by step!
Natalie Vergara 2nd period...
I Agree with Allen Fry 2nd hour the first website was very helpful because it was interactive and the second one was kind've dull. I like the fact that you actually got to put a cell together and also it teaches you the difference between prokaryotes and eukarytes.
Adiana Laborin P.6
The first site was easy to understand, self explantory, and was interesting to me to actually learn about the cells. It was very imformative as well. The second website wasn't as easy as the first one, it was a little harder to understand. I liked the first one better, than the first one.
I agree with Silvia Sarabia because like I stated, the first website was easier than the second one.
the first website had alot of information that i was able to understand and the website went step by step showing me how everything work. the second website also had alot of informaation but it was harder for me to pick up the information. i agree with annette soto p.2 because i also stated the same thing about the first website
Terrence Rawlins P6
1st website:The first website was easier for me to understand and i learned where all cells go
2nd website:The second website was much longer and harder to read but with a lot more info then the 1st one but i really couldnt understand it
I agree with Tyler H because he said the 2nd one was harder then the first one just like i did
Chanel K.
P.4
The first website was very helpful,it showed you a lot more about cells.
The second website was not as helpful as the first but it did teach me more about diffusion.
I agree with Aileen Martinez the first website was kind of fun because you got to make your own cell
The first website was easier then the second one and it was fun learning about all kinds of cells and what is in them.
I thought that the first website helped a lot in understanding the differences between prokaryotic and eukaryotic cells and where all of the organelles are positioned in the cells. The second website was very imformative and really helped me to understand more about cellular transport and osmosis/diffusion. I agree with what Cole V. said about not really understanding cell transportation until now. The second website was very helpful!
I learned a lot more on the first website because I never knew that ribosomes make proteins. With the second website it was really informative, and I learned a lot, but it seems like it had way to much information and I was getting a little frustrated with the second one.
I agree with Diana Reyes that the first one was way easier than the second one.
Melissa N. Per. 3
I agree with diana r. The first one was easier. I liked both of them and I actually learned a bit more about the cells and inside of them and I really liked this activity
I liked the first website more than the second one because it explained the main thing about both animal and plant cell there differances and similiarities. The second one was really confuisng i didnt really undestand what they were trying to say i agree with carly b
Katherine H. P.3
I found that the first website was to be very helpful, and informational.
Although, the second website wasnt as helpful and informational as the first. But i did learn alot about diffusion.
I agree with Chanel Kruz, both were helpful, but the first one was just a little bit more.
Mattie V. per.1
In my opinion, I think the first website was more helpful. I got more out of it, and it explained things better to me. For example, i didn't really understand how the nucleoid region worked, but then it showed the actual picture of what it does and how it works, and I understood it better. I agree with Jenny Cabanillas, it was easier with actual pictures given.
The first website was more visual then the second website and learned more from it than the second website. The second website had more details and explained it better than the first website.
The first website was very informational but I knew a lot of what it was saying. Website two had some information i didn't know and taught me even more about cells.
I agree with what Aileen M. said, it was fun making your own cell.
1st site: I didn't learn anything new from here but it was a good review.
2nd site: I liked it because it was much more informative and interactive than the first site and I like to learn hands on instead of watching someone else.
I agree with Terrence Rawlins about the first site that it was easier to understand.

The first website was very helpful and I learned that the mesosome is a permeable boundary that allows for entry and exit of nutrients and waste. I learned that the mesosome may also play a role in DNA replication
The second was also very helpful in reminding me that all the components of the membrane vibrate randomly, creating the small openings
I agree with Scarlett Z. because it was a great review!(:
The first site was easier to understand and more hands-on. The second site was boring and had too much writing. I agree with maddie h. the first site was easier.

Website one taught me the difference between prokaryotic and eukaryotic cells. Website two taught me about osmosis and cleared up any questions I had before about it.
I agree with David Elias P1 in saying that the websites had a lot of information and helped answer questions I had before reading the information on the websites.
Oliver Syme P.6 said...

Megan Farley
P. 6
The first website was helpful and very fun towards the end where you got to create your own cell.
The second website was very informative and I learned allot.
I agree with Chanel Kruz, the first website was very helpful in showing you more about cells.
Alexis Anderson; Period 4
-On the first website, I liked that everything was step-by-step. I learned that a peroxisome is a part of a cell that uses oxygen to generate water. I didn’t really like the mini quizzes at the end of each section.
-On the second website, I liked that everything was organized and broken down into sections to make it easier to read. Although, I didn’t like the large amounts of information the website contained, because I didn’t really understand it all.
-I agree with Zenia from second hour, that the second website was really confusing, but had a lot more information to learn from.
Activity 1 was easy I already knew about the three cells prokaryote, animal and plant cell and creating my own cell was pretty cool it helped me visualized it better.
Activity 2 was more difficult to me because it was more reading and less interactive things on the website to do.
I agree with Mckayla S from P.2 the first website was more helpful.

The first site was a little boring. The second one was a more helpful. i agree with briana kujawski.
-In the first link I learned about the differences between prokaryotic and eukaryotic cells. Such as how a prokaryotic cell does not contain many organelles, such as a nucleus.
-The second website taught me about the types of transports across a cell membrane, which are passive transporters and active transporters. Passive use no energy and active use ATP to move.
- I agree with Alexis Anderson from period 4 in saying that the second website had more jumbled up and difficult to understand information.
- The first website taught me the differences between prokaryotic and eukaryotic cells. Prokaryotic contain very little organelles and lack a nucleus. This website was very amusing near the end when you get to construct a cell.
- The second website educated me on osmosis and the types of transporters along the memberane. There are two of them, one called passive transporters, which use no energy, and another called active tranporters, which use ATP to help move.
- I agree with Alexis Anderson from 4th period in saying that the second website seemed very jumbled up and was difficult to understand.
From Calum Eikenberry P1.
I thought that the first website was a review of the cells organelles. The second website helped me understand how the barriers of a cell worked. I agree with Troy S. because I too learned of the third type of cell.
The osmosis and diffusion blog was pretty long and it was conusing trying to do the equations. The enzume catalysis was the most difficult for me to understand because i wouldnt know how to do the equations or understand how the beakers work. The pigments and photosynthesis was easy because we all know its usually all about plants. Cell respiration waslong too. how the respirometer works was hard to understand. ATP was easy, it was a short video and i never knew ATP stands for adenosine triphoshate. they were all very interesting and long. my faveorite was the ATP. -S.Sarabia
Bryan Ayala Period 2
I was quite confused at first. I kept coming back to the blogsite to open the links for the different topics such as cellular respiratory, ATP, enzyme catalysis, etc. But it was easy later on. I liked how the animations were kept short. Also, I really liked www.wiley.com because it kept it very simple. Thumbs up to the second website!
well i like the first website because you could create your own cell which was pretty easy.
The second website was really confusing. but alot more information to learn which was very good. overall i liked both sites.
