Out of all tha blog i did i think i liked tha recyclecity becuz it lets clean up tha city nd how we can clean our city.
I learned that waste that are combined can lead to physical injury.you can put contaminate waste in septice tanks..it is also not good to drain toxic waste down the toilet it still can leak out..you also cant throw away batteries, paint, and cleanning fluid in the trash you have to take them to a drop off center that recycles them...
i will comment on someones comment when their is more
1) I was very surprised about how some programs made a major influence on the town's appearance, and how others didn't. It was most surprising to see how the town changed in the end, it was a major difference!
2) I will put any recyclable materials (Bottles, cans, etc.) in our recycling bin and will re-use containers instead of throwing them away.
3) This one is on Biodiverstity: http://www.globalissues.org/issue/169/biodiversity
4) I agree with Mustanglover18, I learned we should make the Earth and our city look good.
5) My favorite blog is by far this one. It was the most informational, fun, interesting, and affecting of my knowledge of the topic, in this case, recycling.
PERIOD 3 CINTHIA BARRON
well i like the game there
was alot of places and things to know and if i have to play these
game all the time i will play it:)
yes, i learned that not taking care of the environment or caring about recycling can not only make the earth worse and ugly. But can also harm us like for exmple things that we use like batteris, landmower, things that carry hazardous can harm the environment. The oil and toxic things that people throw in the ocean affect not only the living things in the water but us too its also not good to throw bottles or plastics or anything like that around the streets or ocean, rivers,or down the toliet.I help around my streets and recycle moslty everything i find thrown outside.I think it would be helpful and better if people start caring and helping out by making the environment better so we could have a better cleaner, and also healthier earth.
I liked what justin thomas in third hour said its true we should make the earth and city better.
Cinthia Barron p.3
1. Did I learn anything? Yes I learned
that its important to recycle
2.How you will personally the
environment? to put in the trash to gether and have the city clean
3.post a link to ecology related
video, song or article? www.clean the air.com my favorite blog was
this one to keep the city clean
Cinthia Barron P.3
i liked what justin thomas in 3 period says its very surprising how there its alot of things in the games how everuthing change and its true we need to make the earth and the city better and have everything clean
thought the game was easy i agree with justin Thomas because any time i read what he says i feel he is not BSing in his comment http://www.iamkarthik.com/172-ways-to-save-the-environment.html
1) I loved the Game and i didnt know they had a place to make new stuff from recycling cool.
2) what i can do for the environment is too recycle more then just cans and clean around the city
3) http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kI-XQmHQ_Lk
4)i agree with both Justen and Mustanglover18, making the city and the planet cleaner and we should make them better
1) I leanr what it does and how bad it is to have if we don't do anythiing right or do about.
2)If i would help the envirment I would do more recycling.
3)http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nvCUEagudHY
4)I agree with Michaela on how we could clean up the city to help the envirment.
5)This blog became my favorite because it tells me how bad it and that we should help the envirment more often.
1 I learn a lot of information about how bad it is.
2 I would waste more to help it to make it better.
3 http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ophRiF9fR8E
4 i agree with kayloni that would should help a lot more often on cleaning and recycling to make a better environment.
I didn't really learn anything, because all I could see was Dumptown getting cleaner. I looked through the map, and at the recycle center. However, I found nothing of intrest.
I will help the enviornment by participating in the curbside recycling program for Bullhead that was just put into place.
The link I found is an ecology song....it's kinda cathcy:
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=sQoM9aAtfvc&feature=player_embedded
Enjoy!
I agree with Justin, the game did show how some programs made a difference.
1)i did learn some stuff from this game.i learned that the apparence of the town plays a mager affect on what the town looks like
2)i will help by recycling and picking up little bits of trash when i see some.
3)an article about recycling is: http://www.eoearth.org/article/Recycling
4)i aggre with Daniela "I think it would be helpful and better if people start caring and helping out by making the environment better"
the game was interesting, and very visual to see what goes on.. it shows how we can clean up where we live.
what i can do to make my environment better is, recycle.. and clean up where i have been, if i see trash.
a video that has to do with this blog would be, www.clean the air.com
i agree with justin thomas because the video does help us learn about our environment.
some of the things that i learned was that its important to recycle hazardous products in waste centers. i also learned that there are certien things that you can recycle. and that theres a speciel way to get rid of hazardous products.
1) This blog taught me a lot I would have never known. I learned the waste comes in a solid, liquid, or sludge. I also learned that if a waste is hazardous, it can go through a process called neutralization in order to not be hazardous. Lastly, I also learned that waste has to go through a lot of procedures in order to get where it needs to be.
2) In order to help the environment I would have two boxes, in one box i will put my old homework & in the other bother i would put plastice bottles. Also, by me not littering in public everyone else would see and do the same to make everything look cleaner.
3)This link tod me more about the effects of hazardous waste and what can be done.
Related Link:
http://www.tn.gov/environment/swm/
4)I agree with Aaron Evans, the game was easy. It was also fun and educational.
5) By far my favorite blog was this one... it taught me the most and it still was fun. It was more interesting then any of the rest and it teaches you whats best for your environment.
*Alyicia.Kraft 6th hour*
The game was pretty cool, i knw recycling was a big deal an all but now i see so to say in between the lines of it. Id gather a group an go out around the city to get it clean i mean it isnt that hard an the smallest city will still make a big difference even though it may not seem like it. This blog was i say the most fun because it just was. the game, kept me focused and it gave alot of information an made m think alot about recycling. Justin thomas & Cinthia Barron had some very good points an stated some facts that i totally agree with.
Manuel Herrera 4th hour
well i learned that not everything goes in the trash like i know about recycling but i never really payed attention to hazardous products. to help the environment i think i should pay more attention to the products i throw away and to recycle. and i agree with mustanglover18 and also, we shouldnt take advantage and throw stuff lying around and think well its only one person in the world doing it cuz alot of people might think the same
I agree with Daniela Madero because recylcing is important. Without it we would have polluted rivers, water, food, the whole earth would be a mess. I learned from the game that recyling is serious if we don't help keep the earth clean bad things will start happening.
I learned about the affects we have on our enviorment and what to do to prevent it and help clean it up. I will personally help the enviorment by recycling and picking up any trash lying on the ground. I agree with Cassandra in first hour when she said she realized how important it is to recycle hazardous products. My favorite blog was the 'What Does It Matter Anyway???" i likede this blog a lot because it was short and also taught me very valuble information in a fun and easy way.
1: I learned that the world is becoming very poluted, and if we try we can help make it better.
2: I will personally help the environment more by not littering, :-) & by trying to recycle more than i already do.
3:http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=22MaNvRv6bQ&feature=related Theres my video on recycling.
4: I agree with Alycia Krafty, I think her statement was good, and i feel the same way as she does.
1: I learned that the world is getting very polluted and we have to recycle more, it makes a big difference. The game was very fun, and i enjoyed it.
2:I will help the environment by starting to recycle and pick up trash when i see it. And if i see people littering, i will make sure they pick it up.
3:http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HnWAgD7bZCM&feature=related
4:i agree wit kayloni i think hes right, we should do more recycling!
I think the game was simple, but it does show how we could help clean our enviroment and make it a better place to live in. And based on by comment I agree with Kira Minter's similar thoughts.
1) I learnd that recycle is very inporten to the world and that we should start.
2) I will start put any recyclable materials (Bottles, cans, etc.) in my recycling bin and will re-use containers instead of throwing them away.
3) http://ecohearth.com/eco-tube.html
4)I like justin thomas blog
Yea, by setting up programs that will be a little cstly for the city, we made it better and cleaner.
I just got recycle bins in my house, so i will recycle and als pick up any little trash thats cntaminating the environment.
Web Adress:www.greenpeace.org/, this basically adressessome environmental issues by blogs by adults and other professrs.
I like Cynthia Trejo's idea of putting old paper like homework in bxes to recycle.
I learned how to recyle and cleaning your enviroment or town is good for just not you but everybody in the world. If everyone knew about recycling we sure would have a way cleaner and healthyer world. How i would start helping my enviroment? I would start cleaning up the town and start collecting cans, bottles etc to recyle.
http://www.eoearth.org/article/Ecology] that siite tells you alot about ecoglogy.
and I agree with everybody about cleaning up and recyle.
I learned that cleaning the environment is really good for everyone.I was suprised to see how the town changed.
To help the environment i would help clean up i would collect bottles and stuff.I agree with Haley in 6 hour, when she said she would personally help the environment by recycling and picking up trash. My favorite blog was the Energy Crisis because i learned alot of thing that i didnt know
I learned that the smallest things to help the environment makes a difference.
Personally, I would start recycling more paper, bottles, and cans. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Ac1UV30jt_U
I liked Justin's link about the article about biodiversity.
My favorite blog was the last one, "Energy Crisis" because I liked the animations.
did i learn anything? not realy i already knos how bad it is to not recycle and how bad the trash effects us and the enviroment. but the game thing was pretty cool and funner then most the blogs , less confusing too.
i will recyle at home and throw my trash wheres its surrposed to go.
1.I learned about some of the things that we are doing to the earth and the way that it can be cleaned up.
2. I will clean up my trash, recycle more, and do what ever eles i can to help keep this world clean:).
3.This is the article that I found:
http://www.americanrivers.org/our-work/global-warming-and-rivers/?gclid=CODI4J_14awCFXJrtgod9WRamw
4.I agree with Crysdtal Wooland.
5. This is my favorite bolg.
i learned that there is diffrent way to deal with hazzerdes waste such as burning it,burieing, even adding other chemicals to break them down.
how i would help the enviorment is to continue reylceing and let the people break them down how they should.
this this tells the diffrent methods used is disposeing of wastes http://www.epa.gov/osw/hazard/testmethods/index.htm
my response to dalton, that this was not a game it was more of an informant of how waste is disposed, much more to this site then just a game.
myfavortie post would probley have to be this one as i actully learned something very helpful for our enviorment
I learned that we need to recycle every day or the earth will become polluted. I will try and recycle more cans to help the environment.
http://www.tn.gov/environment/swm/
I agree with crystal that if we dont recycle the whole earth will be a mess.
1) I didn't really learn anythingand all i saw was the dumptown getting cleaner.
2) I'm recycling the basic stuff like: Cans, bottles, etc....
3) http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kI-XQmHQ_Lk
4)I agree with Kayloni and Michaela because recycling can be fun.
1. no i didnt really lern anything because ive already seen all this type of stuff befor.
2. I help the enviornment and continue to do so by recycling.
3.http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=uSM2riAEX4U
4. I agree with Kayloni about how bad it could be if we dont recycle.
5. personaly i liked this blog the best because it didnt really feel like i was learning anything and i had fun doing it.
I learned that helping clean the city also helps us keep our biosphere clean so we can stop wasting energy and keep pollution at a minimum.
I will probably start using the blue bins that we got to recycle our can and other stuff.
video about recycling:
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=loeHhmUh-nE
and i agree with manuel herrera and justin thomas blog
I lerned that not everthing goes in the trash and i never payed attention to hazardous product we use and that recycling is good for the earth an our cities and the game should me alot of stuff and that we should check what hazardous product do to our cities and the effect it has to life an i agree with Manuel Herrera http://www.epa.gov/recyclecity/gameint.htm
and this was one of the best blog i liked and learned alot from
I learned a lot from this game. I never realized there were so many different things that could actually be recycled. You usually hear the typical ones such as paper, glass, and aluminum. Yet I never considered donating clothes to Goodwill as recycling. I thought it was very interesting to see how much every program made the city look cleaner.
I will help my community by taking advantage of the curbside recycling we have available to us and helping other people become more aware of how much can actually be recycled.
http://mrskingsbioweb.com/Biome.html- When you click on the name of each biome it gives a nice organized description of each of the 10 major biomes.
I agree with Justin Thomas, he said that he was “very surprised about how some programs made a major influence on the town's appearance, and how others didn't.” I was also surprised at that.
My favorite blog so far is this one because I felt that this blog was the most entertaining and I feel that it opened my eyes to a lot of thing I didn’t know.
1)This blog taught me a lot . I learned the waste comes in a solid, liquid, or sludge.

3http://m.youtube.com/index?desktop_uri=%2F&gl=US#/watch?v=uAjxkazcbwc
4 I agree with raquel with the curb recycling but I think o shouldnt pay for it to get picked up the recycle
1. I learn that in order to protect the earth people have to go through a long process on organizing and reusing to not make all common materials hazardous.
2.I am going to tell my parents and family to be aware what they are throwing in the trash can and how it can be recycle.
3.http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vs0dOsRE5e8 this is about the temperate coniferous rain forest biome

This tought me how important recycling is to the environment
I didn't learn much, but what I did learn that they put barriers underground when they bury hazardous waste so it can't leak into the Earth. I thought that was cool.
I help the environment by thinking twice about throwing something away, and then recycling it, if it's recyclable.
Here's an ecology song about reducing, reusing, and recycling! How fun! :D

4) I agree with Justin, the game did show how some programs made a difference.
5) My favorite blog is this one beacause we need to recycle to keep our earth healthy.
From this interactive game, I learned that there are many more ways to recycle than just by taking it to a recycling plant. Some of these ways are making compost piles or having a reuse center in your town. I also learned that there are many more things you can recycle besides paper, aluminum, or plastic, such as: wood, food wastes, or textiles. I also learned that even making small changes such as pay as you throw can have such a major effect without much effort. I also learned that recycling can be easy if you have the resources, outlets, and motivation to do it.
I will personally help the environment by recycling more products. I already recycle cardboard and paper products along with aluminum cans. I will recycle more metal products and try to reduce the amount of pollution I put into the air.
The video I found was: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WrDOZdKbtaQ and it helps explain the recycling process.
I agree with Ashley Melekush when she says, “that if everyone in a town recycled just a little bit, the world would be a better place. It doesn't take much to recycle.” I agree with this because if everyone in their community stepped up and did their part or even helped someone incapable of stepping up on their own, then we would have a much better environment and our communities would be cleaner.
I think this was my favorite blog because it was interactive, although it didn’t take too much thought to process it.
I always learn something new from your post!Great article. I wish I could write so well.
